Terms of Use

Effective date: 26 September 2026

whatoshop is a shopping-list app made by Maksim Borisov. Downloading it from the App Store is also covered by Apple’s standard license. These terms say how the app itself works.

The lists

You can make lists, add products, and mark them bought. There is no account. The lists created on a phone belong to that phone. If you delete the app, or lose the phone, those lists can be lost unless someone else still has the share link.

Sharing

A share link lets another person open that list and change it. Send a link only to people you want on the list. The person who created the list can turn off the old link. That stops the old link from working. A person on the list can leave, which removes only their phone.

The library

The product names and pictures in the library belong to whatoshop. You can type a missing product onto your list. We may add popular typed names to the library later.

The service

The app is free. There are no in-app purchases. We try to keep phones with the same link in step, including when a phone is offline for a while. We do not promise that a list will never be lost.

Acceptable use

Use the app to shop and to share lists with people you choose. Do not try to break the service or to open a list you were not given a link for.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top changes, and the new text appears in the app.
